Mark Esplin Photography

 

 

Mark Esplin (b.1987) is a Freelance Documentary Photographer from the UK. He graduated from The University of Wales Newport, where he studied Documentary Photography. (2006-09) Influenced by documentary photographers such as Judith Joy Ross, Tom Wood and Lise Sarfati, Mark's images often utilise portraiture to highlight and comment on complex social issues.

Since graduating Mark has established a photography department for an Indian NGO, 'The Human Rights Law Network' (HRLN) where he currently resides in New Delhi. The work he has produced in India has been published by ABC News, and exhibited in various sites of New Delhi. Through this collaboration his images have been used in advocacy campaigns raising international awareness to human rights violations in India.
